Lilydale District & Yarra Valley Education Plan

The Lilydale District and Yarra Valley Education Plan (LDYVEP) is a collaborative initiative involving six secondary schools in Victoria’s Yarra Valley region: Healesville High School, Lilydale Heights College, Lilydale High School, Mooroolbark College, Upper Yarra Secondary College, and Yarra Hills Secondary College. Launched in 2017 and expanded in 2020, the plan aims to enhance educational outcomes by fostering shared resources, modernising facilities, and providing diverse learning pathways for students. A key component is the Collaborative Indigenous Strategy, which focuses on improving educational outcomes for Koorie students and promoting Aboriginal inclusion across the schools. The plan also emphasizes community involvement, encouraging local industry, tertiary providers, and Indigenous leaders to participate in shaping educational experiences.
